What's Wrong with MLM's

It never ceases to amaze me. This world has so many ways to make money and no one wants to believe in it. People are so afraid of MLM or multi-level marketing that as soon as you speak, they cringe. MLM's are marketing. When you get your hair done and someone tells you how good it looks and ask where did you get it done, that's marketing. You are a walking billboard. When you tell someone how to get something that you have, you just marketed the person or the company. You market yourself every day either in a good way or bad.

MLM's are a way for everyone to make money. When you join MLM's you need to make sure it is affordable for you and something that you would enjoy telling people about. Most times your friends and family will not accept or agree with your marketing or MLM or the product. MLM is all about you and what you believe because you can not market just to your friends but to everyone you meet. Just as someone stopped you because of your hair or clothes or even car, it is an opportunity to let them know of your MLM. Every MLM is in business to make money just like any corporation but MLM allows you to get a piece of the pie while the business is growing. I have my own business and am working two MLM's that I enjoy telling people about the opportunity to make money. Here are my MLM websites.

Health and Wellness Company

Getting Paid to Shop

Check them out and tell me what you think. Remember, you have to work in any MLM just as you have to work at a job but with MLM you can make residual income which you can not do at a 9 to 5 job.

Thanks for reading.

MLM's are so diverse, it's CRAZY

I agree with the last poster...most people are moving away from corporate jobs and moving towards MLM's with a quickness. Working in MLM gives you true financial FREEDOM and the ability to make choices within your own corporation.

I'm personally involved in the travel business. I simply refer people to my travel website to book their vacations and present a very lucrative business opportunity if they are interested. My business partners use this vehicle as personal and professional development where we TEACH others to use this business to not only enhance their lives, but the lives of others.

It's not as scary as one may think...you are simply advertising your vacations!

Here is my travel marketing website...take a peek and let me know if this can work for you!

Thank you for reading and your response is certainly welcome!

I have faith in MLM

Uworkforu, I went to both sites. Only the landing page worked on the uworkforu site. Each of the links, just took me back to the landing page. What types of health and wellness products do you sell? The powermall site was a bit difficult to navigate, again, it took me about 5 minutes to find the products you are selling.

I have been reading A LOT about the MLM business model. Specifically Wave 4 by Richard Pow and The New Professionals by Dr. Charles W. King. http://astore.amazon.com/strandgroric-20/105-04071...

We have been taught to question anything out of the norm. As women, we are natural nesters. Most of us just want to maintain status quo...even if we aren't truly happy with our current situation.

In the late 50s when Ray Kroc was drawing out a new concept called "franchising" people thought it was a scam. The McDonald Brothers Hamburgers weren't very good, why would someone want to open up a hamburger stand with their untasty burgers?

It's not about the burger, is it? It's about the business system.

There are MLMs out there with good systems, there are MLMs with bad business systems. Sometimes a new MLM with a faulty system will fail (like any business that fails in the first 5 years) and the people who started it will start another one. Are those people "scammers" or do they just have perseverance? Even Entrepreneur Magazine has a section dedicated to MLM http://www.entrepreneur.com/bizopportunities/netwo...

I've been involved in Worldventures, a 2 year old travel MLM for about 6 weeks now and have received top notch training and support, saved money on my own travels, and made new friends. Who can complain about that?

Hear, hear!

Thank you for sharing your thoughts on the MLM industry. MLM's are simply sales and marketing that go directly to the consumer; hence it is also know as Direct Selling. A great book about the industry and its outlook is "The Next Millionaires", by Paul Zane Pilzer. It's not a "get rich quick" business, nor is it all about selling to your friends and family. It's hard work but it is work that pays YOU! I joined a direct selling company last year and I love to share this gift with others!
