Those of you who filled out the recent AlphaWomen character survey know that most of the questions were of the quick-and-easy, answer-from-your-gut variety, but one gave me pause...

Name three people in modern society who inspire you.

Granted, I didn't think on this for hours, and I might change my answer were I to give it more thought. But after a few minutes of reflection I ultimately answered as follows (in no particular order):

* His Holiness Tenzin Gyatso (the 14th Dalai Lama)
* Kofi Annan, 7th Secretary-General of the UN
* Angelina Jolie (her role as an activist, not actress)

So, I'm curious. Taking less than five minutes to ponder, what were or what would be your answer?
