I found this site last night and thought it’d be fun to use in a post. The sight is about the Kabalarian Philosophy and “how the quality of one's mind—thoughts, desires, opinions, likes, dislikes, reactions—can be measured by the linking a person’s language and name to mathematics.” It was interesting yet creepy all at once. Isn’t it amazing how these sites always seem to hit the nail on the head? Here’s the link if you’re interested:

I found it after I decided to invite my parents over for a quiet Sunday dinner (which is easier said than done when you’ve got 4 growing boys fighting over who was served the most). Anywho…my poor mom tried her best to make sure every plate was piled with pasta in exact proportion to the next. One by one she called the boy’s for dinner and simply could not get one of their names straight. I sat there and laughed because I do it all the time. It was then that she turned around to me and said, “why the hell did you pick so many first names that all end in either n or m!” (Evan, William, Dylan). Which led us into a lengthy conversation about my name, Jasmine. I kept trying to explain the reasons why I disliked my name. At first when you hear the name you automatically think of the flower; then there’ princess Jasmine (from Aladdin) or my personal favorite… the millions of strippers out there who use the name in the hope of sounding more unique or exotic. My mother looked at me like I was a lunatic and kept coming up with lengthy reasons why the name was so beautiful and unique (go figure, she picked it!). So instead of talking in circles with her I decided to Google the definition of names and fell upon the Kabalarian Philosophy. The philosophy to a certain degree is associated with the Jewish religion but I’m not quite sure of the specific’s…I just thought it was interesting.
