Lisa Barger is a Master Herbalist in private practice as a natural health consultant. The owner of 6 health-related web sites, Lisa works actively to empower people to make informed choices about their own health.

Lisa is perhaps best known for debunking articles. Her tell-it-like-it-is style of writing isn't always diplomatic but, as Lisa says, "I never intended to make a career out of criticizing others but someone in my field had to step up and hold alternative medicine to a higher standard."

Lisa is an Academic level member of the American Botanical Council, a member of the American Herbalist Guild and was a founding Advisor for the Natural Ingredient Resource Center. She and her family live northeast of Little Rock, AR.
