Bio

Danielle hails from Pittsburgh Pennsylvania, but moved to Los Angeles to pursue a Masters of Divinity at Fuller Theological Seminary in August 2005. Now, with only a year left of grad school to go, Danielle spends most of her time wondering how the hell she is going to pay off her grad school loans. In undergrad Danielle studied art at Indiana University of Pennsylvania which gave her the opportunity to fuse her interests in ceramics, fiber arts, and costuming. Even though she has never figured out how to make a living with her creative skill set, she continues to invent, create, and design, always with her trusty sewing machine by her side. Danielle is no stranger to the non-profit sector. She spent the first three years after undergrad working as an art director for at risk youth in Pittsburgh, and then shifted gears in 2002 and began working as a Community Education and Outreach Advocate for the Center for Victims of Violence and Crime, also in Pittsburgh. Her love of social justice, racial reconciliation, theology, gender equality and the arts continues to fuel her as she seeks to make sense of this crazy world. When she has free time, she is usually salsa dancing, blogging, complaining, and wondering why she writes bio's in the third person.
