- Deanna grew up in small town in Indiana, but has made her way to the suburbs of Chicago. The move here, in 2001, changed her life completely. She went back to college in 2004 and finished her degree in 2006. Met her husband in 2005, engaged in 2006, married in 2007. Together they bought their first house in 2007 and are remodeling and relandscaping it as much on their own as possible. In a year she'll turn 40. (omg) Enduring a 20-something marriage/divorce, the crazy train of dating as an adult, dealing with the anxiety of being downsized and living paycheck to paycheck... all of that and coming out grinning are what make her an Alpha Woman.
