I'm a writer. LOVE JUNKIE: A MEMOIR is coming out this fall with Bloomsbury. It talks about one woman's dangerous addiction to love, sex and relationships. Janet Fitch, author of WHITE OLEANDER and PAINT IT BLACK, said, "Reading LOVE JUNKIE is like watching a sleepwalker take a stroll on the freeway. All you can do is pray. Gorgeously written. Also, this fall, Kerry Cohen, author of LOOSE GIRL: A MEMOIR OF PROMISCUITY, and I are going to launch a joint website Loose Girls and Love Junkies. http://www.loosegirlsandlovejunkies.com. We plan to provide a forum for frank discussion of love, sex, romance and relationship addiction for men, women and teens. We're going to invite experts in the field and also artists, writers, musicians and others who have experience in the area and create art inspired by it. I also am founder and CEO of Writers On Fire. We provide luxury writing retreats for the creative adventurer. We also offer private writing coaching and occasional (Los Angeles) local workshops. I'm so excited to join this network and get to know everyone. What a cool idea, Freda! I really want to share about this love junkie thing. I wish I'd known about it many years ago myself.
