It is late again, and I am reading. Another week is starting with all these hopes floating in darkness. I am hopeful yet concerned big time. Talked to my son's God Mother over the phone, she was hoping for another Roosevelt to rise. Her attitude gave me courage to hold on. Dee is her name and she is 78. Amazingly, she wakes up every morning at 5 am sharp, lights a candle according to the color code of her half-ancestors which are Native American then prays to God in French to acknowledge her other half, then eats her simple breakfast and goes online for an hour.

Dee needs her PC fixed every month by me because she has an extreme fear of identity theft and anything that gets in the way she doesn't like, or too slow of a connection, is work for me!

Fall is not making the shadows darker yet here in Florida, it is still very hot. I don't mind to drive half an hour just to put a smile on her face but over the phone was just good today.
