I'm saddened that it was Sarah Palin who McCain chose as his VP running mate. There are so many other well qualified Republican women out there he could have chosen. For the record I'm a democrat. But I'm not necessarily anti-McCain--well at least I wasn't. I might have voted for him had he chosen a better qualified VP candidate--man or woman. His pandering has lost my respect, not only the possibility of my vote.
