In Fairness to him, our Wedding Anniversary was perfect.
Still... Days before our anniversary I told him I want to reserve the first part of the day for a surprise and he can plan the rest. I asked him to take me to the mall on the weekend to shop. He waited on the first floor while I shopped. So now he was very excited for his surprise and he kept asking me for clues. The day before our anniversary he said to me, I hope it is not something gay like a picnic...
I thought, how rude! What if it was a picnic? He won't appreciate it? And what is wrong with a picnic anyways??? But because I was tired of him asking me all the time I told him yes it is! And you know what he did? He called his mom and said that he always guesses surprise gifts for him and that mine is gay! I was laughing though and he said he appreciate the thought but it is not his kind of thing. I mean at least he was honest.
What I did was actually ask him to take the baby to the daycare that morning and as soon as he left, I jumped into the shower and after that put the lingerie that I bougt from Victoria's Secrets at the mall. Placed some post its at our bedroom telling to wait till I call him to come in.
I lit up vanilla candles all over the room, closed the blinds, put on very red lipstick and I invited him in and did a lapdance to trance music. The rest was history. Now remember this was a morning but I had to be creative because we have a toddler. He was very very happy. And he realized my idea of a "picnic" was not so gay anymore!
He borrowed his mom's porsche and took me to lunch at cheesecake factory! I was very surprised because he doesn't eat anything there but he took me there because he knows I love the place. Then he took me to the movies. I found it very relaxing and was just perfect. We didn't really buy presents because we are saving to buy our first home this November and I thought it is just worth it. And yeah it was a perfect anniversary for me, I am not a hard woman to please.
