Friday was his dayoff and he came to my work bringing this huge floral arrangement which consisted of my favorite flowers, lilies(see picture)! It did have a message but no apologies it just said "because you are worth it". This is really what the problem is. He can just move on with showing me that he cares but never addresses the problem or talk about it. I could actually go on and not talk to him but the mature person that I am recognize that even without words he is trying to do something about the relationship so I thought I would accept the olive branch but still tell him what I was hoping to hear from him or expect from him as support when I am upset about something.
I also told him that we have to come to an agreement that if he has an issue about something I did he needs to tell me right away instead of waiting for me to say something and him just saying back you do that too! I told him that does not get us anywhere so he agreed!
A relationship is always a work in progress that is why it is called a relationship and so I am working on mine, one day at a time.
For now, we are happy!

Thanks for keeping us updated! The flowers are beautiful! What an step in the right direction and at some level he acknowledges that he was wrong or you would have gotten nothing.
Glad to see that things are working out, you really can only take it one day at a time! There are never any guarantees in life.
The question is DOES he
The question is DOES he acknowledge he was wrong? Or does he just want to be out of the dog house??? Although, dont get me wrong, the sentiment was very sweet, but lacked originality. Sending the flowers with a "just because" note attached,was also a scene in a movie. And I know we as women love a man who is "creative" more than anything. So I hope that he continues to up the ante and step up to the plate 100% But I DO wish you well girl...
