In 1926 Coco Chanel introduced the little black dress (aka the LBD) making it the must have for any woman’s wardrobe. It’s the answer to every fashion dilemma. The LBD can be dressed up (pearls, heels) or down (shrug, flats or even flip flops). But now with all the eco-conscious labels available there’s no reason why you can’t wear your LBD and still be fashionably green. There are tons of LBD made of bamboo, hemp silk, and organic cotton like the one at www.kellybcouture.com they have an organic cotton tube dress with a very flattering just-past-the-knee-length. I also found a flattering take on an 80’s inspired black dress by Larsen Grey available at www.Shopbop.com. Then there’s the always flattering wrap dress by Kelly B I found on www.ShopEnvi.com (make sure you check out their loungewear…I LOVED IT).
