Shopping for lingerie can be (in equal measure) both pleasant and horrific. Let’s face it; no one has the perfect body. Trying on anything “revealing” can be a traumatic experience on so many levels (especially if the lingerie being purchased is for other eyes to see!). I personally don’t like frilly bras, lacey thongs, or lingerie that is so complicated to put on that it needs instructions!!! In my opinion, comfort has to come first…Sexy is an added bonus! I’m not saying that looking sexy is not important. It is. However, some of the lingerie out there is so incredibly uncomfortable -- at times even painful – that it should have a warning sticker that reads, “May make your face contort in pain.” Yeah, that’s a sexy look! Any who…I thought in this post we could all share some of our favorite lingerie brands and why. Here are some of mine (both comfy and sexy):

But thongs, not so much. Just a personal preference.
I'm not much for lacy undies, either--at least not anymore.
Scott says lingerie is a waste since it ends up in a wad on the floor, or tossed over the back of the chair near our bed.
But I love the way the luxurious fabrics feel against the skin.

Boy shorts
My husband feels the same way about lingerie. I'm a shopper so I buy them anyway LOL. I see underwear as a extension of how my clothes look on. For example, if I wear jeans with pockets, thongs are a NO NO. But thongs with a pencil skirt...(in my opinion)a must!

I really love Old Navy
I really love Old Navy underwear/pajamas. They are usually very cute and comfortable. Figleaves.com looks really awesome. I have been looking ALL OVER for a bra that doesn't feel like a corset...definitely will check them out. Thanks!

Old Navy
I'm a HUGE fan of Old Navy. TjMaxx and Marshall's also have a great selection of underwear and pj's. I will say though, Hanes men's boxers (comfort band) are always REALLY comfy. There's times where I will wear a pair all day with a cute tank top (I can't believe I admitted that...LOL).
