Ok... now I have heard it all... Mc Cain was asked "How many houses do you have?" and he responded... well, here's the quote from MSNBC:
"John McCain acknowledged that he wasn't sure how many houses he and his wealthy wife actually own.
"I think — I'll have my staff get to you," McCain responded to a question posed by Politico, according to a story Thursday on the publication's Web site. "It's condominiums where — I'll have them get to you."
Later, the McCain campaign told Politico that McCain and his wife, Cindy, have at least four in three states — Arizona, California and Virginia. Newsweek recently estimated the two owned at least seven properties."
Ha ha ha!!! From this I don't want to complain... but open myself and all of you to such immense wealth...I want to wish all Alphawomen enough wealth to forget how many houses you have, and hold very dear the people in your life who create your true home...

Sorry, but I don't really think it's a rational comment for McCain to sell some of his properties to solve the national debt or housing crisis. What he has (or his wife has), as far as their personal assets, should be their own business and they should feel good about their accomplishments.
When I see postings that are directed toward downgrading someone else's achievements, I find it hard to see how that benefits anyone. It's negative energy and no one should ever be made to feel bad for their success or achievements in life.
Thanks for voicing your
Thanks for voicing your opinion! I have to say that I agree with you 100%. Our national debt is a result of many things over many, many years. Biggest being that as a nation we are so busy taking care of everyone else instead of just worrying about what we have on our plate. It is like a mother who can't take care of her kids but keeps bringing on more. I think we shiuld be a little concerned that Obama has removed the American flag from his newly renovated Jet. America is not perfect but there is no other country that I would rather live in and have the freedoms that we have. Further people need to stop blaming others for their lives and start taking responsibility for themselves.
Great Post!

I wouldn't read very much
I wouldn't read very much into Obama "removing" the American Flag to replace it with his own logo... the plane was from an old North American Airline fleet where they all had the American flag painted on the tail, and he had the plane refurbished and painted for his campaign. Mc Cain also has his own plane and he doesn't have an American Flag on his either, just his logo.
take a look...

I sincerely doubt anyone anti-American would waste his time and money to take the most stressful job in the world to run a place he didn't like.

I'm thrilled for anyone's success... I just thought it kind of funny to hear at first... I wish the same monetary success to anyone who strives for it, however, I wish true success to everyone... health, family, friends, and compassion.

Everyone is entitled
I believe everyone is entitled to enjoy their success, and I certainly wouldn't expect anyone (political figure or not) to sacrifice their personal wealth and achievements for the sake of the national debt, housing, healthcare, welfare or any other national program.
However, when trying to analyze which candidiate that I believe will be better able to relate to the common man, and the needs of the average citizen, I become acutely aware when one candidate is so rich and has accumulated so much that he literally is not aware of his own assets. In my opinion, that candidate might be slightly out of touch with the middle-class/low income/have-nots and those living in poverty in our country. And as unfortunate (or maybe even unfair) as it may be, once a private citizen makes a bid for the highest office in the land, his/her wealth, health, personal vices, et al become public knowledge and thus the subject of discussion. As a concerned citizen, I benefit from knowing as much about the candidates as I can learn. I don't consider those discussions "negative energy" anymore than I would a discussion about a candidate's education, income tax return, political voting record, or bills he passed.
My comment about Cindy's fur coat and Prada bag were meant in jest to illustrate a point -- as I am certain that Michelle probably owns both...

So Mc Cain can understand "normal" people - how exactly? Because the average American never remembers how many homes they own ..you know why - because they can't afford to buy one and are renting.
I'm flippin u the bird Mc Cain because you are an ass!

Who cares?
Of the many negatives I could express about McCain, having multiple homes is not one. He married a rich woman. Rich people have houses quite often. I was not rich, but had two homes at one time, and I found it to difficult to manage.
I don't care that he has many homes, I care that he is ruthless and careless, because even if he didn't know or care, you had to know someone would ask that question. The answer could have been at his fingertips, because he has staff. That's what I want: staff-- what a dream.

The Roosevelts were a tremendous team and worked tirelessly for the American people and they weren't poor! Theodore and Eleanor Roosevelt were both very wealthy but they knew the needs of the American people. I don't care how many houses the canidates own, I just would like to see someone in the presidental position who would serve the people instead of serving themselves.
