This is so sad. We are such a wasteful nation, world. We have bought into, myself included, consumerism and it is finally catching up to us. I can only think what is going to be here for my son and the generations that follow his.
I don't want anymore children and I long for the day to be able to move into a more simple life. GC and I were having that discussion over the weekend about moving to Colorado or near the upper peninsula of Michigan where life is a lot more quite and things are just a tad bit slower. It was hard to come home after being surrounded by so much beauty in every direction. I would hate to see that destroyed.
