This week we received a question about masturbation and fantasies. This is a very popular subject because so many women are either scared of their own fantasies and imaginations and end up feeling guilty, bad and very much alone. Freda Says: Hmmm this is a tough question. Well, since I have been in a relationship for the past three months, I haven't really masturbated because we have a pretty good thing going and I haven't felt the need. But I think masturbation is completely healthy and necessary, even safe when you are not in a committed relationship. With so many STD'S rampant out there it is good to be able to take care of yourself. Further, if you aren't familiar with your own body and how it works, then how can you expect your mate or future mate to know how to bring you to climax? So, I am a big fan of it. Ahhh I digress........Okay to answer this I am going to have to go back three months when I was by myself. This is tough because it is so personal! I have a vivid imagination and really what I would fantasize about was the foreplay, the holding hands, the kissing, touching, rubbing, licking and then the ultimate connection. You can be rest assured I didn't fantasize about any ex-boyfriends. It would either be of someone I really liked or someone I was attracted to. Honestly, it wasn't the guy so much as what he was doing, where his hands were, what I wanted him to do, what I was doing to him so on and so forth. Fantasize about what gets YOU excited and gets YOU going.

I typically think of the person I’m dating or want to date and it’s usually better than watching inspirational pornography. If I’m not seeing anyone or wanting to see anyone I think of the last great sex experience I had. I prefer thinking about the person I’m dating or want to be with because it helps when I’m actually in the situation. It’s like visualizing victory before a race. It keeps the fantasy world and real world close together without any confusion and it helps the fantasies move from fiction to fact. And in some way it keeps my feelings close to the woman I’m with (or want to be with). I also think about the current woman I’m dating because if I’ve already slept with her, I have strong feelings for her and want to and enjoy being with her, so I enjoy thinking about sex with her. This may sound crazy or out of the ordinary, but this is simple and enjoyable.
JC Says: Wow, these are some loaded questions…..I would like to start by saying you should NEVER do something you aren’t comfortable with, sexually or otherwise. In doing so, you betray your core, your very being. That being said, I am very open about what 2 or more consenting adults do behind closed doors as long as it is not illegal.
Usually when I masturbate, I fantasize about a “faceless” man. My focus is more on what he is doing than who he is. I usually don’t fantasize about someone I know because I can get distracted easily and the same insecurities I experience in real life spill over. There is one particular gentleman however, who always “delivers” and lately, he has been in my thoughts quite often.

Okay, just found this website, and of course, this is the first question I decide to comment on. Go figure. Although those who know me would know I would jump right to this question. Anyway, I always fantasize about things that I would probably never get to , or maybe even never want to do in real life. Me and two men, me and another couple, me and the Verizion Guy (yes, HUGE CRUSH!!) Also, places I may never get to, like a sailboat on the ocean, or someones office, whatever.
