God, I detest that term..."cougar!" Why do we have to be labeled? And why use such an aggressive descriptive term that implies woman over 40 are on the hunt!! Men don't have that stigma when they date women half their age (well, I mean aside from 'foolish').
I don't date a lot of men my age b/c they don't ask me out -- usually younger men approach me b/c I don't look my age (54 yo). But I certainly don't have my high-beams on, on the prowl for some 21 yr old. For what? I like men who are muture, self-confident, secure in themselves and have figured out a few things in life. Not to mention that a greying beard (along with a little wisdom) is down right sexy!!
